Clean-in-Place automatic cleaning systems were originally adopted in the food industry, but they have later been applied also in industries where the product must be absolutely clean and pure, such as pharmaceutical production.
A plant equipped with CIP system is a complete plant, aimed at production efficiency and able to minimize shut-down times for cleaning activities.
This CIP system is designed according to cGMP-FDA standards, piping and fittings comply to ASTM-A269-A270 and applies tri-clamp connections. It is composed of one 1.500 L WFI tank, atmospheric pressure ≤ 0,49 Bar, operating temperature 90°C max; two 2.000 L RO tanks, atmospheric pressure ≤ 0,49 Bar, operating temperature 90°C max; one heat exchanger in stainless-steel AISI 316L; sanitary SPX centrifugal pump in stainless-steel AISI 316L.
The CIP was fully assembled and cabled in the workshop in order to be promptly operative at customer site, an electrical control panel was included.
